1. Product Overview


A marine deck crane, also widely known as a ship crane, marine crane, or deck crane, is a specialized heavy-duty lifting machine designed exclusively for shipboard and offshore applications. It is typically installed on cargo ships, bulk carriers, offshore platforms, workboats, and fishing vessels to perform loading, unloading, hoisting, and transferring of goods, equipment, provisions, and materials. Driven by either hydraulic or electric systems, it supports stable 360° continuous rotation and safe load handling in marine environments. 3. Working Principle


Most marine deck cranes use an electro-hydraulic driving system. The electric motor drives a hydraulic pump to generate high-pressure oil flow, which powers hydraulic motors and cylinders to complete lifting, luffing, telescoping, and slewing movements.

The hoisting mechanism drives the winch to lift or lower the load through a steel wire rope.

The luffing cylinder adjusts the boom angle to change the working radius.

The slewing motor drives the slewing bearing to achieve 360° rotation.

The control system uses a manual valve group or an electric proportional control to ensure smooth and precise operation.

Safety devices such as limit switches, overload protection, and pressure relief valves automatically prevent dangerous operation.
