The marine cargo jib crane (also called marine 杂物吊) is a specialized light-duty to medium-duty lifting equipment designed exclusively for marine environments. It is compact, flexible, and corrosion-resistant, mainly used for lifting, handling, and transferring small cargo, spare parts, daily supplies, and sundries on various ships. Compliant with international marine standards (CCS, BV, LR, DNV) and ISO 9001:2015 certification, this crane is widely installed on bulk carriers, feeder vessels, fishing boats, yachts, and offshore platforms, providing efficient and safe auxiliary lifting services in limited deck spaces. Working Principle


The marine cargo jib crane operates through the coordinated work of a power system, transmission mechanism, and control system, tailored to the marine working environment:

Power Supply: Electric models are powered by the ship’s 3-phase AC power (380V/440V), while hydraulic models rely on an electric motor driving a hydraulic pump to generate high-pressure oil flow; manual models rely on manual operation for small-load lifting.

Lifting Movement: The power system drives the hoisting winch to wind or unwind the steel wire rope, realizing vertical lifting and lowering of loads. The lifting speed is adjustable to ensure stable handling of fragile or small items.

Slewing & Luffing: The slewing mechanism (equipped with slewing bearings) drives the jib to rotate 360° continuously, allowing omnidirectional lifting operations; the luffing cylinder or manual mechanism adjusts the jib angle to change the working radius, adapting to different deck spaces and lifting positions.

Safety Control: The integrated control system is equipped with overload protection, upper and lower limit switches, anti-sway devices, and emergency stop buttons. It also adapts to ship heeling (≤5°) and trimming (≤2°) conditions, automatically cutting off power or stopping operation in abnormal situations to ensure the safety of personnel, equipment, and cargo at sea.
