The electric double-rail engine room crane is a special overhead lifting machine designed for ship engine rooms, power plants, industrial workshops, and narrow equipment rooms. Adopting a double-girder and double-rail structure, it provides higher rigidity, stability, and load-bearing capacity than single-rail cranes. Driven by full-electric hoisting and traveling systems, it is mainly used for lifting, handling, assembling, and maintaining large engines, gearboxes, generators, pumps, and other heavy equipment in confined spaces. The electric double-rail engine room crane runs stably on two parallel I-beams or steel rails. The end carriages drive the whole crane to move longitudinally along the rails. The electric hoist or trolley runs transversely on the double-girder bridge. The lifting motor drives the drum to wind or unwind the steel wire rope, realizing vertical lifting and lowering of loads. The electrical control system realizes coordinated control of traveling, transverse moving, and hoisting, with built-in limit switches, phase sequence protection, overload protection, and emergency stop functions to ensure safe and stable operation under narrow and complex working conditions.
